After you accept the deal: completion is included

We share the deal figure and terms agreed with the freeholder for you to accept or reject. If you accept and proceed, BeFreehold completes the title reviews, prepares the transfer documentation and facilitates the transaction through to completion. The freehold purchase price and BeFreehold’s facilitation fees are always included in your quoted purchase figure. You may also instruct an independent solicitor; our service remains included and the purchase figure is not reduced by removing it. Any solicitor fees you choose to incur are separate.

Optional Land Registry service — £349

As an optional add-on to your inclusive purchase figure, BeFreehold submits the completed documents to HM Land Registry, handles any requisitions and completes the required leaseholder ID verification. Confirm any separate Land Registry charges in your estimate.

Keep the decisions separate

Agreeing with the indicative valuation lets you move to the £99 approach service. It does not commit you to buy. We negotiate based on that valuation and share the deal figure and terms for your separate acceptance or rejection before completion.

Your choice of independent advice

BeFreehold’s title reviews, transfer documentation preparation and facilitation through completion are included in your quoted figure. You are not required by BeFreehold to instruct a separate solicitor for our standard voluntary purchase process, but you are welcome to do so. See who does what.

Your questions, answered

How long will it take?

There is no universal timetable. The freeholder’s response, title complexity, lender requirements and documentation affect timing.

Who submits the registration?

Agree this explicitly. You can add BeFreehold’s £349 Land Registry service to the completion service included in your purchase figure. It covers submission, requisitions and required leaseholder ID verification. Otherwise, agree who will submit the application.

If you need the statutory route

This five-stage service is the voluntary journey. The formal route has different eligibility, notices, professional work and consequences. It is not included in the £99 approach service. Explore a statutory purchase through BeFreehold.
